Primary 1 Health week day two

Another busy day in Primary one, today we kicked off our morning with a visit from the dental nurse . She brought her tooth brushing dragon friend with her,  she demonstrated brushing his teeth and we had a discussion all about keeping our teeth and gums healthy.

After break we enjoyed a Judo workshop where we learned some basic Judo moves, this was lots of fun, and totally out of some of our comfort zones but we gave it a try.

Football was next on our adventures, we enjoyed working with the football coach to learn drills. Again some of us  thought we wouldn’t enjoy football or be able to do it but we all gave it a good go.

Our final activity of the day was a scavenger hunt in the community garden. We walked along from the school and we adhered to the safety rules of walking beside a road. We completed the scavenger hunt in pairs and had a great time exploring the community garden
