Primary 1 Health week day 3
Back with a bang
this morning as we had a session with our Active Schools Coordinator. We were learning tennis
skills, running and moving in different directions, bouncing balls
and then using a tennis racket .
After break we walked up to West Calder bowling club where we learned all about playing Bowles
The walk was far but we all did very well and everyone tried their best. Bowling was fun and we were glad the rain stopped for us as it was outside in the grass. Some of us had been to indoor bowling before but this was a lot different.
In the afternoon we had a gymnastics
session. For some of us we have been to gymnastics
before but for a lot of us this was our first try. Some of the moves were tricky but we used our perseverance and had lots of fun doing it.
We did extra walking today along the Polbeth river, we talked about what animals might live in this area.
