St. Mary's Presents "Matilda the Musical"

Our P5–P7 pupils are entering the final stages of preparation for their upcoming show next week. Over the coming days, the children will be taking part in final rehearsals, dress rehearsals and technical rehearsals as they bring together all aspects of their performance.

Through the Expressive Arts curriculum, pupils have been developing a wide range of skills including confidence, creativity, communication, teamwork and performance techniques. The rehearsal process has allowed them to explore characterisation, movement, music and drama while working collaboratively towards a shared goal.

The excitement is certainly building as the children prepare to showcase all of their hard work and dedication. We are incredibly proud of their commitment and enthusiasm and cannot wait for them to perform for family and friends.

Tickets are available from the school office for £3 each. Performances will take place on Tuesday afternoon (16th June) and Wednesday evening (17th June). We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating the pupils’ achievements on stage!
