Another busy week in Primary 2
We’ve had another fun-filled week in P2 with lots of learning, exploring and opportunities to develop our skills!
Numeracy: We continued building our understanding of numbers 1–10, focusing on finding one more and one less. We used a variety of hands-on materials and resources to help us explore numbers and develop our understanding.
Literacy: We continued working hard in our Read Write Inc. groups, learning new sounds and developing our reading skills. In writing, we began describing ourselves and wrote some sentences all about who we are.
French: We had fun exploring different feelings and emotions in French. We created colourful pictures to show different emotions and linked these to the French phrases we have been learning.
Religion: We continued our learning about justice, thinking about how Jesus welcomed everyone, made time for all children and treated everyone fairly. We discussed how we can show fairness and kindness to others in our own lives.
Art: Our art lessons continued with Mrs Ferguson, where we have been developing our creativity and artistic skills.
Assembly: We listened carefully to the House Captain hustings and heard from the pupils who are hoping to become this year’s House Captains. We’ll be casting our votes very soon!
Fun 31: We also enjoyed some lovely time with our P1 friends, sharing lots of fun and games during Fun 31.
What a busy week!
