Primary 3 - Friday 9th October 2026
Another busy week in Primary 3. We undertook stage 2 of our Egyptian mummy making and wrapped our mummies in bandages before covering in glue to make them hard on the outside. We are now waiting until they dry.
Our Building Thinking Classrooms task involved trying to solve a tricky problem using coloured cubes but with positive attitudes and some great teamwork we were able to come up with some interesting solutions.
On Thursday afternoon we ventured into the garden area with Mrs Ferguson only to be met with some upsetting news – the slugs had munched their way through some of the lovely plants and flowers we had planted! There was nothing else for it but to plant some more so fingers crossed!
It was lovely to meet so many parents and carers at our Parental Consultations this week and be able to give such positive updates on our children in general and also on pupil learning. Thank you!
