Rannoch Class

Rannoch Class have been learning about nocturnal animals. We’ve developed our motor skills through a variety of activities such as collage hedgehogs, hedgehog models and collage ‘owl babies’,  Mrs Ferguson has helped us to develop our skills too through making model foxes and bats. Several of us really liked the nocturnal animals song and the ‘Owl Babies’ book.

In food technology, we especially enjoyed making then eating our pitta bread pizzas.

We explored some ‘ghosts’ during ‘what’s in the box?’ We are learning to wait our turn then pass the object to a friend once we’ve had our turn.

We continue to try hard in our literacy and maths learning.  Mrs McMaster continues to help us develop lots of skills and fitness during our PE sessions which we love.  Our daily ‘Danny Go’ sessions are keeping us active too – we tried a new one this week ‘The bat wing Beat’ which was fun!

Thanks to A’s family for sending in some delicious cupcakes to celebrate A’s upcoming birthday.

We hope everyone has a lovely October break!
