Halloween week

This week, we began learning about our new writing genre: Information Reports. We discussed what information reports are, explored examples and talked about how they help us learn facts about different topics. We also completed a cold piece of writing on penguins to show what we already know about information reports before we begin developing our new skills.

We were also lucky enough to enjoy a fantastic visit from the pantomime. This year’s show was Robin Hood, and we loved joining in with the songs, cheering for the heroes and booing the villains! Everyone had a wonderful time and there were lots of smiles and laughter throughout the performance.

To celebrate Halloween, we got busy in the classroom making chocolate apples. We carefully dipped apple slices into melted chocolate and added tasty toppings.

They looked amazing and were delicious to eat!

To finish the week we had our Halloween Party. Everyone came dressed in fantastic costumes and there were witches, superheroes, frankensteins, dinosaurs and many more creative outfits. We played games, danced with our friends and had lots of fun together.

We have had a wonderful week full of learning, creativity and celebration. Well done, P2! Enjoy Halloween tomorrow
